Does each umpire need an account? ▼
Yes — umps sign in with email or Apple/Google to access the mobile app. They see only their assigned games, can claim open slots, and mark blackout dates. No app install required; there's a web view too. Signing up is free for umps; only the commissioner needs a paid plan.
Can I import my existing schedule? ▼
Yes. UmpCrew accepts a CSV with columns for date, time, field, home team, and away team. Export from most league management tools (GameChanger, LeagueApps, etc.) and drop the file in — games are created in seconds with no manual entry.
How does the SMS reminder work? ▼
When you assign an ump, they immediately receive a text with the game details and a Google Calendar link. A configurable reminder (default: 24 hours before) goes out automatically. All messages come from a real phone number via Twilio — no short codes that carriers block.
What if I run multiple leagues? ▼
Each league is a separate workspace with its own ump roster and schedule. Pricing is per league — contact us if you're running three or more and we'll work something out.
